So I'm after a 1.8l 1981 Honda Accord motor (I think its an EK motor)
I have a 1.5/1.6l EL motor and I cant get any parts for it (ANYWHERE!) I live in NSW Australia and am happy to pay upto 1000 bucks for a ruining motor.
Anyone with a wrecking Honda Accord/Civic/Prelude with a 1.8l or really anything other than a 1.6l
I am also considering engine swaps but nothing crazy, a transverse Mitsubishi motor would work potentially but thats a lot of work for nothing. Dont want to let it sit around too long as I only have 3 months before I need to get a blue slip for rego.
(In NSW, If you leave a car unregistered for more than 3 months, It will need to go through basic engineering before it can be registered. This is a very picky process and an engine swap is usually unacceptable)
