Default 94-97 2.7 V6 crossover water thermostat pipe

I am looking for the aluminum cross over pipe that the thermostat sits in. When attempting to change out my thermostat i broke a bolt off and screwed it up trying to drill it out.

I have looked on ebay and can not find it im not even sure what this part is actually called.

It's called a water passage. Honda discontinued that part (#6 in diagram).

Try car-part . com for used parts, it looks to be listed as thermostat housing on that site; but, you may want to confirm with the salvage yards listed. It appears to be priced around $50 - $65.

There were no 1994 Accord V6; so, narrow the years range to exclude 1994, when you do a search.

I tried ebay with no luck but i didn't know what keyword to use for it. I have used car-part.com before and tried it but wasn't sure if it was listed as thermostat housing and haven't began to start making calls yet to verify. I really hate the V6 accords seems like they are rare and cant find parts for them.

Thanks for the reply though i will try using water passage as a keyword see if i can get more hits with it.

Yeah the v6s are pretty rare. What I would do is use car-part.com to find a junkyard local to you that has v6 parts listed, then call to see if they still have the whole car to see if you could get that part off of it. I know most junkyards near me would practically give that part away.
