Default WANTED - my old car back 1981 Accord SE

Back in 1996, I sold my 1981 Accord to a guy in Modesto (I think)California. I don't have the VIN handy, but might get it once I start digging around. If anyone knows the whereabouts of a silver w/burgendy interior 1981 Accord 4dr 5Spd SE model in the central valley of CA - let me know. I would like to get that old car back.
And, no, I don't have a gold bar hidden in the framerails.... I have just always enjoyed older cars better then newer cars (my "other" car is a 1972 Chevelle), and my old Accord would be a welcome addition back to my garage. My daughter is going to start driving my 1995, and hoping I can get my old car back.

If it's still in your area, why not go and make the people an offer to buy it back ?

Without a name or VIN it would be really hard to track down. Even if you had this the car could have been sold multiple times by now.

And quite honestly 1996 was 15 years ago, sadly the car has probably been scraped by now.

But I do wish you the best of luck, and if you did find her it would make a great story.

Hey I might be a little late but I just seen your tread about the 81 Honda Accord..... I have one same color and everything except mine is automatic... You're more than welcome to buy it. It's a real headache for me and all these ridiculous vacuum lines... And I really want to get rid of it it's a classic everything's original no dents no rust. Had it for about 8 years... I have not once had it to run perfect. And it will not go like I want it too when I want it to go as far as throttle response in drive. it's a real grocery getter that's for sure.. if you're interested give me a call... Or if you have any information on how to fix my problem completely let me know too please...
