Yeah, I can't chirp the tires anymore thanks to the worn clutch. I just though of a clutch story. I was driving behind an old lady with a sicko sticker (handicap driver) and she was going soooo slow. so I'm sitting behind her pondering ways to get around her when the she sped up real fast and misjudged the speed of the car in front of her. She slammed on the brakes too late a d rear ended the car in front of her (fender bender). I slammed on my brakes, but forgot I was driving a manual and stalled the car. I looked like an idiot, but I did figure out the way to get around the lady!

My best friend made me learn some emergency manuvers when I first got the tC. I could barely drive the car and he had me doing 5-3-2 emergency stops and 4-2 stops. It incredible how much speed you can dump on 2nd gear.

I usually downshift 5-3-2 when approaching a light or stop sign. It's crazy how much 2nd gear can handle! When I was behind that lady though I was accelerating way back after a light turned green, then red again, so I never got out of first.

You guys may already know this but a trick to use when taking off from a stop on a hill is to pull up the handbrake, keep the button pushed down, then slowly release the clutch and press the gas until you can feel it holding and then lower the handbrake and go...

I only roll back about 6 inches before I take off, but i'll give that a try next time I'm on a hill.

I used to do that when I first started out, or when I'm on this one particular hill stopped at the light with someone trying to climb up into my ****.

When I'm on that hill alone, I can start moving without peeling out now and I only roll a couple of incheswhile engaging the clutch. I prefer to not have to use the handbrake if I don't have to. I still haven't put 2000 miles on this car!

Hey man, I like to go au naturel with my cars. The tree was very alive and organic! Nature body kit FTW!

We had a little fun with a 3lb. hammer. You never really have an opportunity to see the properties of laminated glass...

Falkore, when did you get the tC again? I got my Accord on April 6th...? I've already hit 3k on mine...
