head on block now!!
Well I did some work on the cb 2day. Got the head on the block...but it's only for looks right now and to help keep my cyl walls from rusting. I still have yet to pull the engine and trans out b/c just haven’t been home to do it and I need my dad’s tractor to pull it out since I don’t have a hoist...no point to buy a hoist cus the tractor can act as one. SO I still have to do the 5speed swap ...find a trans. Get ARP head studs, new axles rotors ball joints clutch and all the 5speed swap parts. So I think sun I just might go hit up the pick and pull and get some parts. Ohh and I also finish the port on the intake manifold. It's not the prettiest but it will do the job nicely. I 4got to take pics be4 I put the head 2geather. But I think is looks sexy in the engine bay...and even sexier when I have a fat snail hanging out the front of the head
Enjoy!..more pics still to come when I move farther with he swap

lookin good dude! luckily you have nice weather down there in florida for the most part. Winter is gonna be setting in here soon for me . the worst part is i found i have a nice fuel leak in the rear line by the tank. Thats top priority now. Idk what to do with that. might just pay a shop to fix.
also in with what rice said. Are you gonna modify your support for the turbo setup? Im sure it probably makes the swap easier.

its layin in the back seat. Easier to pull the engine out of the bay and work on the car to lean over and such. It was just in my way...I didn’t want to tear it up like I did my a/c lines they kept gettin in my way I and finally lost and just bent them off to one side (I tend to get mad easy and just break stuff..lol) . I'm not going to have a/c anyways so I’m taking out all of its pluming
