Default 5th Gen, A-arm collapsed

Hi guys im new to this forum, and new to owning a FWD car in general(i used to drive a lifted jeep lol), but I was driving, down my GF's driveway, at about 2 mph luckily, heard a pop, the car stopped and tranny started making weird sounds(auto). and now the passent side a-arm, is completely compressed, but the shock and coil are fine. The cv shaft came out of the tranny, and i beleive the ball joint snapped. Any ideas?

To me it sounds like you snapped the fork (or bolt) on the bottom of the shock and bent/pulled the axle out of the tranny. Thats the only possible way for the suspension to compress and make the spring appear normal...

A broken lower ball joint could also cause the tire to move away from the car and pull the axle with it.

You wont know until you take the tire off.

The lower ball joint snapped, i dont see anything other then that. It pulled the shaft out of the tranny, and im not rly sure how to pop it back in.
