car roars/grrrs when steppin on brakes
im in a honda 2003 accord ex coupe.
ive had new front rotors and all 4 brake pads replaced.
When driving for longer than about 20 mins, when i hit the brakes, i can hear a grrling sound similar to the sound that the car is roaring. It sometimes shakes the car. I had it looked at and nobody knows the solution.
Any ideas on what to do? should i bring the car to honda to get their opinion?

The wheel bearings should usually make constant noise... but it could make noise when the brakes are pressed.
When driving, try this test (in a safe location).
Try braking with just the E-Brake, and see if it makes that same noise.. I believe our rides use the rear only to e-brake...
If the sound is not there, then try again with the standard brake pedal and see if it makes te noise.. if it DOES then it's most likely the front.
Something could be loose, like maybe they didn't clip the pads in correctly, or some chunk of the break could have broken off, etc... If you get the time, take the wheel off (if you can't see it) and take a visual look at the calipers and rotors. Is there any physical damage to the rotor that you can see? do the breaks still look good?
I've also heard of the anti-rattle/chatter plates getting a bit loose and causing some noise as well.

Non factory brakes and rotors???
the shaking when braking , most likely is from warped rotors either frt or rear .. Unless there are some worn suspension parts ,,
As for the noise, if indeed you used non factory pads ,, it is common depending on the pads that were used to be noisy ( growling ) when applying the brakes..
have the shop that did the work inspect it..
I would be surprised if it is wheel bearings, usually it makes a howling noise and unusual to do it while braking ,

Check rotors for any surface damage.
Check your wheel bearing by jacking up the car and wiggle the tire around. If there is play even to the slightest , then you have wheel bearing culprits.
If all else fails , bring to a shop to get it diagnosed ASAP. It might be something worse.

well it turns out honda says it cuz of the aftermarket brake pads. so i bought honda brake pads and put them on..its only been a day and so far it is fine. the shaking was caused by bad rotors i change those and everything is fine but the growling of front brake pads, its not not the rears for sure.
