Yeah, any loose suspension components (anywhere) mean the wheels don't stay aligned as you drive. Mechanic who did the alignment may not have noticed something loose.

UPDATE

I've decided that my suspension needs to be updated. i'm going with new, aftermarket springs and dampeners - all four corners.

I've been reading the suspension sticky (with more marshmellows) and it reallly helped me gain a better understanding for my options.

I don't necessarially want to lower the car, but i don't like how it's sitting now - the front has a much larger gap than the rear. And the drivers' rear has the most sag without me in it (one finger driver's rear, two fingers pass rear vs. four fingers in the front)

Ideally, i'd like to lower the front by 1.5"-2" and maintain the rear height to level the car. I have additional weight in the trunk due to the amplifier mounting and MDF. I'm looking at redoing the entire trunk, and I think some fiberglass is in order to eliminate as much MDF as possible (plus with the new sub locations i need FG anyway). I'm also going to be relocating equipment in order to distribute and reduce the weight back there.

Right now, i'm leaning towards an Eibach Pro Kit of springs and dampeners. I'm assuming that my rear suspension is bad and that's why i'm sagging like I am. I'm also hoping that the new springs will help even out the stance and correct for what is not currently correct. My budget is to stay under a grand for everything (labor not included).

I'm going to replace the bushings while i'm in there (DIY install) and inspect everything else.

My question: Eibach has two kits - one with anti-sway bars and one without. I have those bars factory. Is there any benefit in replacing them? i'm thinking that i could instead put that additional cost into an AEM intake.

Thoughts and comments are welcome.

The anti-roll bars in the Eibach kit are most likely stiffer than stock. So the difference would be roll-stiffness. Autocross any? I'm guessing with that audio gear, your goals are more about stance & not as much about cornering transients.

More weight in the rear would move towards oversteer, & the stiffer roll bars might do that too. Probably you should want the more stable understeering of the stock roll-bars since the rear weight will move you towards less understeer.

If you want to upgrade your suspension then i got the ticket for you. I just bought some Koni yellows and eibach pro plus kit, now what that is, you get the sway bars and the 1.5" Drop springs. paid a little more than a grand for it, just the parts. but that was delivering it to canada, which the site that i got it from offers free shipping in the states....lucky lol. so that price would be lower and just right for ya.

these shocks are externally adjustable (so stiffer in the rear and soft up front or whatever you need) and perform awesome....so im told. haven't got them yet....im so excited for them!

the site i got them from was (and i dont know it this is a sponsor) Import replacement parts dot com. when you call ask for mike, he'll hook you up!

and tell him to price match, thats how i got mine so cheap. but he priced matched a site with a sale on it so better hurry. if you need any more info PM me. might get in trouble for telling you another site!
