they have ones for the front, rear, and the tie bar.

 

I thought they had different names for it. Like tie-bar or something.

 

Yeah, you see those three piece deals on eBay a lot, its the front and rear strut bars, and the rear tie bar.

 

How would you attach the rear strut bar in the trunk? Is there a bolt assembly like under the hood?

 

Yeah, you have to cut your carpet in the trunk. My brother has one in his Neon, I havent done it yet on my car. But you have to cut holes in your carpet so you can get to the strut mount thingy lol.

 

Ehhh....I rather get rear tie bars instead of rear strut bars.

i just installed my new strut bars this weekend and i found out the hard way that the sturt towers in my 91 accord coupe arent in the trunk
i had to fold down my rear seats, remove some interior trim stuff, and its right there
then after installing it, make the cut so it will fit

my mistake was that i assumed it was going to be right in the trunk, so i used a knife and slashed though the interior trim inside the trunk, when i then found out that there was nothing there but metal...

Yes Sleeper...you have the bar and the 2 screw in end pieces for adjustments, there for 3 pc strut bar [sm=happy046.gif]

I thought it meant the strut bar is in 3 pieces and then you assembly it.[&:]

 

i ordered the same bar. just got it today and it looks good. the CF finish isn't real, but it looks pretty good. its not a sticker though, so it ought to stay on for a while. are there any things i should know about taking those 3 nuts off of the struts? the strut won't fall out will it? lol. sorry if i sound like a newb, but i've never installed anything like that.
