Default Raise 08 accord slightly?

Hello, this might be a dumb question but I am looking for a way to raise a stock 08 accord slightly. We live in mexico and it's getting the crap beat out of it. There are tupe's (speed bumps) in the streets everywhere and many places there is no set size, bottoming out no matter what. If I could get it up an inch I think that may help.

Thanks.

There isnt much you can do to raise it. There aren't any companies that I now of that make lift kits for cars.

What you could do is get bigger rims, to raise the car up some, but then you would usually have a thinner tire so it would make for a rougher ride.

Thanks for the reply.

If i go with larger rims and thinner tires would that not work out to be the same height?

I'm going over paved streets with huge potholes in them also, slow going and already rough so the ride is not a huge issue.

Is it possible to put slightly taller tires on the stock rims for a slight lift?

If anyone comes to mexico, bring a high riding old vehicle. Not only is it beat underneath, but all the way around by other drivers when parked.

Don't know stock sizes right now, but it IS usually possible to put taller tires on your same rims.

Did you buy the car new? Do you know whether or not it has been lowered? If it has, you can go back to stock springs.
