Strange rubbing going on
Hey all,
I have a 1993 Honda Accord with 189k miles.
I get this strange rubbing coming from under the car. It “feels” like it is coming from the front passenger side but I can’t say for sure.
The strange thing about it is that it doesn’t become noticeable until after 15-20 minutes of driving and at highway speeds. The other thing is that once it becomes noticeable it progressively worse. It kind of feels like the car has a flat tire. Lastly, it is only noticeable when I accelerate and the harder I press on the gas pedal the more noticeable it is. When I coast it the car feels completely normal.
Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? The tires on the front are about the three years old and rear tires are brand new. I don’t smell anything strange.
One thing I noticed today is that is seems to get worse when I make right turns, but I can’t say for sure yet.
Thanks for any ideas.
