tein sport springs

tein sport springs
I currently have a set of the cheapest coil overs you can get on an accord. Roughly $30. Thanks to people who just want to see a car low regardless of consequences. I don't race my car and basically just want it have an aggressive stance. I was planning on getting some tein sport springs that are about a 2" drop in front and 1 1/2" in rear. Currently I have a camber issue because of the coilovers, to the tune of negatie camber in front that is bad enough that my entire tire looks great except the inside edge, and in the rear i have negative camber and toe in. It sounds like crap if i take a high speed right hand curve (like on the highway) Basically my question is, will the springs clear up part of my issue. I can understand having some negative camber, but the toe in? I am hoping that it can take care of that. if not, is it time for a toe kit? Who makes a decent one for not a giant chunk of change? Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
Thanks

RE: tein sport springs
Okay I could be talking out my *** here and I hope someone will correct me if I am... The only honda I personally modified the suspension on was my 1994 Civic DX 4Door. I installed a H&R Cup Kit (Koni Externally Adjustable Shocks with H&R matched springs... yeah it cornered...) I was builing the car for SCCA Rally localy and after it lowered the car they were still able to adjust the toe in just not the camber perhaps you have the same issue?
Part 2: From my understanding if you install different springs in the rear I think you'll see your biggest improvement. It sounds to me like the springs aren't doing jack and allowing the tires to roll in... I'd vote for springs...
P.S. How's the fuel economy been affected with the tires being all f'd up?

RE: tein sport springs
If I am all highway in a 94 accord with cold air and crappy exhaust I am getting in the neighborhood of 32mpg. Seeing as how I have no idea what I would be getting if I didn't have a problem I'm not worried about it. However, if I get it fixed and it jumps to 32mpg even when I am doing a lot of city driving I'll be ecstatic and pissed at the same time for someone screwing up my camber with crappy suspension.

Cheap coil overs are a bad thing, i would worry more about them breaking then anything, but i hope its decent quailty. but regardless of what spring or coilover you get, when you drop your car 2 inches your going to get negetive camber. The only thing thats going to fix that is a camber kit or a different style of rim that help straighten things out. But a camber kit is your best bet.

also, when you lower your car....it doesnt change the toe especially in the rear. so..something may be bent, which is a big issue that needs to be cleared up immediately. it sounds like your car is tear out the transmission when you go over the train tracks ghetto slammed so if you put the tein springs on your car it may raise your car up a little, which would make the negative camber less. but i would recommend getting a camber kit, they are easy to install, and when you get the alignment done.....which will need to happen when you change the springs.....they can set your camber just perfect, and your tires will wear evenly.
