Default What kind of suspension is best for drifting?

hey guys im kinda a noobie and but want to know more about drifting, i figure suspension might play a big part in it and wanted to know what people had to say on it.

Maybe he has a rwd version lol, or a s2k lol

It's called power sliding for us fwd folks. and really u don't need suspension unless if u want to drop your car, or if it's a drag racer

hahah i know its technically not drifting if its fwd but it can still be done its just different.

ok then, so i wont worry about it until i drop it. i plan on doing it but thats in the future.

I wouldn’t bother trying to butt dragging and honda it’s not fun and you eat tires worse than rwd drifters. I would focus on gettin a set up for corning and launches...but that’s just me.,

well the right way isn’t by buying cheap struts and coilvers or springs and installing them. You will break something...I would personally go with function and form coilovers or tein coilovers. I see ppl all the time buying cheapo coilover sleeves and springs and installing them on stock struts...that’s a BIG no no you blow out struts and possibly other suspension components. You want to put a good name brand and you want to match every corner of the car with the same set up. The low side your looking at 600bucks and you can spend into the thousands of dollar range depending on what you want and such.
