RE: 17 or 18 inch wheels which will ride better
I just wanted to add that I have 17" Konig Imagine rims I have tire size p215/40R-17(Kumho ECSTA 711s-which are great) and I also tried 215/45R-17 Kumho ASX (which these tires didn't last long). The ride is so different from factory. The car just grips the road no matter what the weather is. I also wanted to add that after I got these rims I had to purchase camber kits for the front and the back. The tires on the front and back started to wear incorrectly and within three months the tires were gone. I bought SPC camber kits for the front and the back. I then lowered the car about 2". I learned the hard way about camber. I was told that Accords have no camber adjustments. I have a 96 so I don't really know about the newer Accords. I also wanted to tell you that you need to make sure you know what kind of metal the rims your getting are. The Konigs which are aluminum, that I purchased had a big problem with bending. I had to replace 2 of them because of the bad bends in them. One of the rims was sent back to Konig because the polish was coming off. Konig replaced for free. At this point I had to take another rim to be fixed because of a bend and I also have another rim with the polish coming off. I have since found out that Konig does not make 17" Konig Imagines anymore and Discount Tire cannot locate another rim. So be really carefull with the type of metal rim and try to find out if the rim is going to be discontinued. Hope this helps.. Breeze

Are camber kits needed if the right offset is used?
