Default 2001 EX Alloy wheels

The clearcoat is peeling bad on my accord alloy wheels. I don't use a hard cleaner when I wash my car but I'm not sure what the car wash is using when I take it there. How can I get these wheels recoated and how much would this normally cost?

Take them to a wheel repair/refinishing shop. Usually pretty expensive.

I got the tC's wheels reconditioned .... they were curb rashed bad when I got it ...... it cost me $80 per wheel for grinding, prep, paint and clearcoat. One wheel needed to be re-rounded, so that one was another $50 for rounding and this welded on putty that fills small cracks ..... the crack was outside the sealing surface .... just from the bend.

The worst thing you can do to your car is take it to a car wash, the wheel cleaner is very strong. And the wash solution will strip any wax you have on your paint.

^^^^ While true, there are some strange people out there that do not want to wipe down the car themselves or spend hours polishing, sealing, waxing, detailing, back to black-ing, Rain-X-ing, etc.

I don't understand these people's mentality, but I know that there are a lot of them out there!!! LOL
