2006 EX-L V6 6 Speed Coupe Rims
Recently bought this car from my dad.
Now! It has 19inch rims on it that he bought with it stock (Well, as an add on)
I have never bought after market rims/tires and would like some advice if anyone doesn't mind. I would prefer a black/gunmetal finish - possibly a chrome lip but I am undecided.
I'd like to stick with 19inch rims but for handling I am okay with dropping to 18's if it would help. I also don't want to lower it anymore because of the fact that I live in Iowa and there are some bumpy spots I don't want to have to come to a slow crawl to deal with.
Also, I'm not opposed to buying new winter tires to place on the current rims if driving in the winter with specific rims is a bad idea.
I apologize ahead of time if there is a ton of posts like this. However, this is an Accord forum and I assume everyone enjoys talking about their Accords!
Thank you all!

Welcome. The first thing to consider when shopping for new rims is your budget. Some BBS LM-Rs or Volk CE28Ns would look beautiful, but without knowing your budget its hard to recommend rims that are $800 a piece.

Then I would get something higher end, that will hold its value and look good like a BBS, Volk, Work etc etc. It is going to be hard to make it look good at that ride height though.
I like this 7th gen with some Volk TE37s.

Wow.. that looks sick! I know - I would love to lower it but I will be suffering in the long run in repairs - guaranteed. Too bumpy, cracked, crappy driveways and parking lot entrances.
What do you think for size? 18 or 19? Without lowering.
What about color on a black car? I've never contemplated bronze - not sure how that would look but I am a fan of the
Volk Racing Wheels Rims TE37 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 inch Bronze
&
Volk Racing Wheels Rims CE28N 16 17 18 19 inch Silver
Thanks for the prompt responses.. I am about a month away from the purchase but want to get a good idea - I'll be photoshopping the rims on later to see for sure.

If those are 19s on it now I would stick with 19s, as with that ride height they don't even look like 19s.
As for color its hard to say, maybe a gun metal. Bronze might be a little too flashy for an otherwise stock car in my opinion.

What would you guess they look like? Yeah I can see what you mean about the flashyness though hmmm.
Originally - back when I had my 92 black lude I always wanted a gunmetal with a chrome/silver lip and it's still a thought it my mind.
