On another forums the guy is pretty adamant about them being 17s. I texted my dad and now he is saying he just got whatever came with it - however, when he bought it new I remember him telling me he bought the upgraded size. I'll check when I go on break.

If those are 17s - would you keep them there or go to 18s?

I thought they looked small I was going to say 17s except I thought you knew for a fact they were 19s. I would go with 18s.

I thought I did - 2006 was a long time ago though and that's a lot of time to get information skewed. (My bad!)

I won't have to worry about wheel rub or anything then if I up to 18's? If I do go up to 18's will it distort the speedometer, odometer, etc?

The wheels in the picture look like 17s to me.

Speaking strictly for myself; I'd keep the 17s. Why? You'll probably get better overall handling, have greater survivability when encountering a road imperfection/curb/pot hole, and the tires are somewhat cheaper.

Fair enough - still curious about if I did do 18s if it would mess with the meters?

I like your advice though.. I'm torn between 17's & 18's but if it messes with the meters than I won't bother.

No, if you put the correct 18" tires on 18" rims, then your speedometer and odometer will still function properly. Assuming you're running 215/50 R17 tires, then you'd need to buy 215/45 R18 tires for the new rims.
