Default 2007 Accord tire size question

I have an 07 Accord EX, the tires are stock 205 60 R16. I have a chance to get a set of 205 55 r16 snows on rims with the same lug pattern. tirerack says not to change diameter more than 3%, their chart shows the snows to be 3.18% smaller. Anyone with experience on this size have any info to help me?
thank you

I'd say they're OK, although you would rather get 205/60 for better protection against potholes. After you wear them out, you can go to the correct size.

Stock sizes for different 7th-gen Accords...
DX = 195/65-15
LX = 205/65-15
EX&V6 = 205/60-16

Your snows are less than 1% smaller than the stock DX size. I'm using the stock DX size for snows on my LX; the increased fender gap is noticable but not horrible.

It shouldnt be a problem....

I was considering purchasing 205/55/16 tires, but I decided on 205/65/16 Kumho Solus tires for my 04 Coupe (I live in pothole city)

Im enjoying the ride comfort
