Default After up sizing...

After up sizing tire size ( going from smaller to bigger or bigger to smaller) what else should be done to the car?

I heard that after changing tire size from the original new alignment, suspension, and balancing should be done to the car
Is this true? and if so how much would the total cost of doing all that be?

You don't need a new suspension (unless you went REALLY big and they won't fit), your alignment shouldn't have changed either... the only thing you really need to do is make sure you know how far off your speedometer is....

i didnt think so either. the alignment and balancing maybe but not new suspension. my uncle insist tht you do need new suspension.
but onto the next part..
do most sites offer tire/rim combos? and is it cheaper to buy tht way?
im thinking 17" Blacks. i already have an idea of which rims im getting and they do come in a combo,i just want to make sure and see what else is out there.

The tire and rim packages are nice to get cause all you have to do is bolt them up out of the box, this is it's main advantage!

yeah tht sounds like a very good advantage, along with being cheaper...
but...
i think im going to hold off on the expensive 17" Black rims i want so badly and settle for the the cheap 15" rims they sell at Auto Zone or Advanced Auto Parts or some place like tht. they r only 40 bucks, which isnt bad for my budget right now.
do you guys know anything about those rims they sell? are they worth the $40?
i think its the easiest most affordable way for me to go for now. even tho i can stay with the stocks...but idk..you guys/gals let me know

doesnt your 97 have alloys on it? I thought the SE's came with them. I am not sure what you can get for $40 that isnt steel, in all honesty.

Yeah they are alloys. Im not sure if the $40 rims are steel or not.

or shud i paint the stock rims? tht may be a little more expensive. but another idea worth looking into, and worth reading opinions about...
