Talking Different tire size

I have a 1993 accord. The OEM tire size is 195/60/15. I have 4 good 205/65/15. Will these tires fit ? And how far off would this effect my speedometer ?

205/65-R15 is 32mm larger overall diameter & 10mm wider, so look at clearance. Especially clearance against the curved arm of the steering knuckle which curves around the inner sidewall towards the upper ball joint.

Your speedometer will read 5.3% low.

I have 205/60/15 on now with no problem. Is the middle number the height of the tire ? A 65 would really be close if so. At 5.3% lower on speed that would be about 57mph when my speedometer is reading 60 right ?

205mm is the width of the tire, so I guess that doesn't rub on the knuckle.

The /60 or /65 is the section height. 205/60 height is 60% of 205 or 123mm tall. 205/65 height is 65% of 205mm or 133mm.

Speedometer error is the other way around. When your speedometer reads 60, you're really going 63.2mph.

Thank you Jim that clears it up. I'll just have to remember the speed differential.
