Default Moving From 17x7.5 to 19x8,8.5 or 9's

Hi All,

I've got a 2008 Accord Sedan V6. The stock rims are 17x7.5. I'd like for the new rims to be more flush with the outside body instead of being completely under. I know that the max I can go to are 19x9. Would the wheels and tires be sticking out from under the body with 19x8.5's or 19x9's?

Depends on the offset of the wheel. I have a 2011 V6 Coupe with 18 x 8 wheels with 55mm offset. The lower the offset (e.g. 45mm or 35mm) the farther out toward the fender the wheels will sit. I'm trying to figure out if I can use a 20 x 9 with a 45mm offset and not get tire rub. Good luck.

Hey, do you guys have any pictures of your 19 or larger wheels on your Accords? I have an 08' with the most basic of base steel 16". Oh the shame of it all.

I think I'm like you guys: I want to fill out the wheel well and not have them sit so far inside. I'm kindof a muscle car guy and love the muscle car look ...even on my tame little Honda.

Thanks in advance,

Jay
