NEED HELP!! my new tires are rubbing...

Default NEED HELP!! my new tires are rubbing...

I recently upgraded my stock 205/60 - 16 x 6.5 to 225/45 - 18 x 8. Now when i hit a bump or make a sharp turn the tires rub, im guessing on the fender. What should i do abotu this problem?

well as i see it, you have only one option get some coilovers and raise your car.
what suspension do you have stock??

8" wide is pushing it in an Accord, but can be done without rubbing. What's the offset?

Thanks for your help guys. The offset on the new rims is +42mm. From a side view of the rims it looks as it they will fit up into the fender. The only thing holding them back is the small metal lip on the inside of the fender. A friend told me that this could be rolled back?? Would getting stiffer springs be another solution??
