Default (Quiet) Tire Recommendations

Its time for new tires on my 08 Accord EX.

I think it is a noisy car, and it may be due (in large part) to the stock Michelen tires.

I realize there may be a tradeoff between performance and road noise, but, I would prefer a more quiet ride on the highway over performance.

Does anyone have any recommendations for replacement tires ( hopefully more quiet ) than the stock Michelins ?

TIA

I've heard that the Bridgestone Turanzo Serenity Plus is a quiet tire. I was looking into them myself. Costco has a pretty good deal with a $70 rebate beginning Nov 8

I know this is an older post already, but the Goodyear Assurance Comfortred Touring is an exceptionally quiet tire.

I think I agree with the Goodyear Assurance Comfortred tires, because I had them in another car of mine.

On the other hand, I just bought the 2013 Accord and came with Firestone tires. I don't know how good these tires are because I never used them before, but there is a big noise coming from them in any route. I'm not in the mood of changing them early, I will raise up the music very loud to ignore such a noise... because surely they are noisy... very noisy...

(By the way, is there some kind of sound insulation for cars sold by any store? I might remove the seats and carpet and install such an insulation as a base. I had a car with insulation under the seats and parts of the floor and in the dash area wall facing the motor, and I think they were there to lowered the noise due that it was very quiet inside when I was driving.)
