Sidewall Flex?

Sidewall Flex?
So I'm new to this forum, and I am currently thinking about getting some rims for my 1999 LX, because I notice that it has a lot of body roll due to sidewall flex. I'm thinking about going with some 17" Enkei OR52's, but I was just wondering if anybody else has noticed an improvement in handling purely from larger lighter rims. I still have all stock suspension, and basically I'm debating whether I want to upgrade suspension, or buy rims. I honestly think rolling around lowered with stock hubs will look lame, but I don't know if a practically lifted stock suspension with nice rims is going to be equally stupid. Either way though, I need to stiffen up this car in some way shape or form. Hope you guys have some advice...

Hi New member; Stiffining up the suspension with lowering springs and going to 17" wheels and tires will more than likely give you the stance and driving performance you seem to be looking for...Go For It!

What wheel said, also having lighter rimms will improve performance purely due to lighter rotational mass, but its not something that i would suggest buying just for performance gain.... after all its not like it gives you a lot of gain by doing that and spending a ton of money just to get it...

Okay sweet, Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah marbro, I think you're probably right about the spending a ton of money part. There are better ways and cheaper ways to increase handling performance than aftermarket rims. Now all that holds me back is money of course lol.
