Default Stock #s and bolt patterns, can you help me?

Okay, just wondering but does anyone know a better way to find stock numbers on OEM wheels or other parts?
I found a collision site that listed alloys with numbers and pictures, but somehow I don't think this is the best way to find information.
The dilemma is made even worse by the fact that I'm not sure the wheels I'm looking at (listed in several places as stock # 63879 anthracite or gunmetal in color, width 7", diameter 17" offset 45, 5 bolt, bolt pattern 5x4.53 or 5x115) would fit properly on my baby (stock alloys, width 6.5", diameter 17" offset 55, 5 bolt, bolt pattern 5x4.50 or 5x114.3). The different bolt pattern would mean they wouldn't fit correctly, right?
Can someone please advise? PLEASE, HELP ME!
Thank you, everyone,
Ayumi

if the # don't match... dont go for it... just make sure u got the right #'s! though 114.3 and 115 are pretty close...since it's only a .7mm difference... but just look for the correct rims...
