Tire recommendatoins for Accord and Ody?

RE: Tire recommendatoins for Accord and Ody?
is it a 99 accord 4 cylinder? i got a 99 accord ex, and the tire size is p195/65/15 89h, i put on p195/65/15 91h, the 91 means that it can carry more load. always stay with the h speed rating, or if you want to you can move up to a v speed rating. the h has a speed rating of 130 mph. the oem (original equipment manufacturers) at least on the 99 ex's were michelin energy mxv4's, now they have the mxv4 pluses, but anyways these tires supposedly last only 40,000 or 50,000 miles, but if you do highway driving you can keep them longer.
i replaced my tires with bf goodrich traction ta's which are made by michelin, but a lot cheaper. 60,000 miles they should last. hope this answers your questions.

Thanks for the info so far. I'm going to get Michelin Hydroedges for the Ody (guess I shouldn't have asked an Ody question here, lol). My local tire guy said that Hydroedges would NOT be appropriate for the Honda, although I don't understand why. The tires currently on the car are 205/65R15.
When I do the "find a tire" thing on a lot of the websites, the tire that comes up first often is the Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus, but I wonder how it compares with the far less expensive Goodrich Traction T/A, as was recommended, above.

I like the Traction T/A. It's worth it, its two hundred dollars cheaper as well or $150. Go with the BF Goodrich Traction T/A, but if you want the Energy tires are the best out there, but they will only last 40,000 miles (treadlife).

Look out for the Hydroedges! I have them on my 00 Accored EX V6 and they are too noisy. They make a lot of noise at low speeds, probably due to the directional tread arrangement. However, they are rock solid in the rain as advertised. Dry road handling is also good. They are a 90K tire.
