What kind of look are you going for? That has a lot to do with it.

Offset matters more than size. Look in the wheels and tires section at the sticky thread. There are calculators linked there that will help you compare OEM size to the aftermarket size and tell the effects.

okay i looked through a couple of sites and I'm thinking about getting 18x7.5 rims for my Honda. Just wondering if anyone knows if that is going to cause any problems for my car and will i have to do anything extra to get those 18x7.5 rims to work with my car

Honestly, I think I'm gonna stick with my 16's. I found some pretty nice, inexpensive rims and I can use the same tires I already have. You have to remember, that if you get bigger rims, you have to pay for new sets of tires. I would like to get 18's, but I save $400 if I get 16's.

Get 19's instead of 18's if you plan on lowering your car later. They will fill in those fenderwells a lot better. And as long as the offset on those 18's you are talking about is somewhere around +40, youll be fine

Depends on offset... I wouldnt go wider than 8.5 with around a +35 offset
